Schoeps W5 3.5" Solid Foam Ball Windscreen is an acoustic foam windscreen made for use with omnidirectional microphones. It is designed to reduce wind noise in outdoor environments.
You can also use the windscreen as a low-cost alternative to popscreens when greater efficiency is needed. It is compatible with the MK 2, MK 2H, MK 2S and MK 2XS microphone capsules.
